1st Bray Guides.

Guides are the original section of the Girlguides. Formed in 1910 when girls who wanted to do the same exciting things that their brothers were doing in Scouts. Guides soon did the same
things and more as they learned to help care for soldiers in the first world war.
Today Guides are aged from 10 to 14 and can
do a whole variety of things. In the last 12
months Bray Guides have been camping twice and have had an Adventure 100 day trip to London. Held a Guides Got Talent Show.
The Elephant Patrol won one of 24 places to exhibit a recycled planter at RHS Hampton Court. This is their winning design . We had a fantastic day at the Press and preview day and met Liz Burnley the Chief Guide. Natasha and Kathy made thier promises to her in the GGUK Garden. We are trying to set up our own outdoor activity site. that will also be a Cornflower Meadow.
